It is HOT! You only need a few light clothes and sandals. Bring a towel for the boat/beach, hat, T- shirts, shorts, maybe a long sleeve t-shirt to cover from the sun, sunscreen (non-oily), sarongs, light rain jacket, a journal, special food requirements, vitamins and insect repellant. You do not need boat shoes – we are barefoot on the boat. We also supply refillable water bottles for you on the boat, as well as a small ”boat bag” for you to put your things in.If you are coming in April/May or October/November, bring a sweater, maybe sweat pants and you may need a rash guard or small wetsuit if you are sensitive to the temperatures at that time of year. We provide hair dryers.

SUNSCREEN
Please do not bring any sunscreens with AVOBENZONE or OXYBENZONE as an ingredient. Check your sunscreen under ‘ACTIVE ingredients’.
AVOBENZONE (also known as Parsol 1789, Eusolex 9020, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) reacts with our iron rich water on Bimini. This creates bad stains on the boat, linens and your clothing which are very difficult to remove.
OXYBENZONE has been determined by ocean researchers to be problematic.
Please bring sunscreens where the active ingredient is either TITANIUM DIOXIDE and/or ZINC OXIDE. Thank you for your help and support with this.

This is fine. We have many floatation devices. WildQuest crew members have a lot of experience with people who are aquatically challenged. Of course, the more practice you can do in a local pool BEFORE coming to WildQuest — from floating with your face in the water, holding your breath… or floating face down with snorkel and mask on… to practicing swimming — the less time you will need to become familiar with those things in Bimini, and the sooner you can direct your focus towards the dolphins while in the water.
We have a variety of healing workshops which include: meditations, ecstatic dance, joyful yoga, mindfulness practices, optional plant medicine ceremony, daily therapeutic reflections, which all help in strengthening the mind, body, and soul connection.
WildQuest’s catamaran DolphinQuest is very stable in the water. We have ginger pills and ginger juice which help to calm the stomach. It is also possible to bring some travel sickness pills with you such as Dramamine.

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION
If you have a pre-existing medical condition that you want covered and/or you want a comprehensive policy, please check with your insurance company as they may require purchase of insurance within 24 hours of initial payment to Your Beautiful Beginning and WildQuest.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
This covers you for the rare possibility that you might have to cancel due to illness, family emergency or situations out of your control.
It is also possible that a WildQuest program must be cancelled due to weather or other adverse conditions out of our control. WildQuest will only cancel a program due to possible severe weather once NOAA has issued a hurricane warning for our area, which means hurricane conditions are expected within 36 hours. In these cases there will be no refunds, program reschedules or replacements possible from WildQuest, so we highly recommend that you get insurance that covers all these eventualities. You may use any travel insurance company you like. Some websites that allow you to compare different insurers and policies are www.insuremytrip.com or www.squaremouth.com.
If Wild Quest cancels the retreat then Your Beautiful Beginning must also cancel.
